Template import

Simple way:

Activate File menu Import job function. Select csjob file. Done.  (ver 0.65)

Manual way (deprecated)

From another SynToCloud instance

The software saves its configuration settings and its job list into a separate directory on each computer. Thereby the application itself can be stored in a cloud too, and in this way also making its access easier. If we would like to move or copy an earlier job used on another computer to a new device, the following has to be done.

First start the SyncToCloud application on the new device too.

At that time the name of the new device will already be seen in the CFG directory next to the application.

The XML descriptors of the requested job files (csjob_*.xml) have to be copied into this new directory right from the directory having the identical name as the already used computer.

For jobs downloaded like this, do not forget to update the paths used by the tasks, otherwise you will get the “Directory not exists” error message while running.

HINT: If you don’t know the job’s file name, you can look it up after clicking on the “Edit job” button and then taking the mouse over the job’s name on the just opened “Job properties” dialog.

From SyncToCloud.net

If haven’t done yet, run the application. Next to the application a CFG directory has been created, in which there a subfolder is having the identical name as the just used computer.

Save into this folder the template downloaded from the SyncToCloud.net site. Afterwards, by restarting the application, or from the File menu – “Reload templates” menu item, the new template is ready to load.

For job templates downloaded like this, do not forget to configure your own paths, otherwise you will get the “Directory not exists” error message while running.
